Contractor Licensing

As a residential contractor in the State of Florida, it’s recommended to use licensed workers when proceeding with a remodeling project to ensure the work is done professionally and on time.   By using an unlicensed contractor/installer, you have limited recourse.  In Pinellas County, all flooring installers must be licensed with the Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board (PCCLB).  Due to the economic situation, our company has been contacted by individuals who have not used licensed workers or contractors and have received substandard work, and some who have given deposits and have yet to see anyone show up to do the work.  Please make sure to confirm that whoever you’re contracting with is licensed, insured, and has good references.
